The terms for using Rumor Village (https://uwasa-mura.jp/, "the site").

1. Cost

The site is free and needs no account. Data charges are yours.

2. What not to do

• Manipulating leaderboard records by means other than playing
• Using a display name, or posting a puzzle, that is offensive or harmful
• Interfering with the running of the site, including excessive automated access
• Anything unlawful

Records may be removed and access withdrawn where this happens.

3. Rights

The puzzles, artwork, text and code belong to the author.

Sharing your results is free. You need no permission to post the emoji grid or your time on social media, or to copy a board onto paper and solve it with a friend.

Please do not reproduce or redistribute large numbers of puzzles, or build another service on top of them.

4. Puzzles you make

A puzzle you draw becomes solvable by anyone with its URL. Puzzles made by players may be used to illustrate the site.

Anything infringing or inappropriate may be removed without notice.

5. Your records

Records live in your browser first. Clearing browser data or moving to another device loses them. The records tab can issue a transfer code to carry them across.

Recovery of records lost to a fault or outage cannot be guaranteed.

6. Disclaimer

The site is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. The author is not liable for damages arising from its use.

The site may change or close without notice.

7. Changes

Changes to these terms are published on this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Japan.
